Rural Fencelines - another case of nimbyism
Branch cutting on boundaries is not an issue in the cities . How come farmers have to bear the brunt of more cuts to their territory?. Trees on roadsides already claim their height into our paddocks- and that's something farmers are happy to accept long term . Surely that long term commitment on landholders part should allow them to trim back the branches to the boundary , if the owner needs to protect his own territory and his own interests in the boundary fence itself . Not that complicated unless you believe animals have more rights than we do and as long as the issue is not one that affects your managemnet style on your boundary
